Kids Guidance System >>> in the South Clinic Nuremberg

In Nuremberg has been delivered and installed a child-friendly guidance system by Lightec GmbH. Orderer was the association “Klabautermann e.V.” planned by the architect Brigitte Sesselmann from Nuremberg. The project has been realized mainly by donations of the association to present them a colourful and bright joy besides the dull walks of the hospital. Every animal stands for a children's department and will lead the little patients safe and maybe with a smile in their face to their department. Overall 36 animals have been precisely cut out of our Multicontactfoil, some segmented and covered with colour screen. In a hospital severe restrictions for the usage of electrical devices and materials apply. Six Fol Net 1 Inverter have been installed into the “non-medical area”. All certificates and declarations of conformatiy of our products have been assigned to guarantee the technical acceptance of TÜV.

Signs consisting of Forex plates on which EL-foil has been glued on. Those Forex plates have been covered by special produced powder coated metal plates.
Bodies of the animals have been cut out of the metal plates to visualise the light foil. On this picture the animals are facing different direction to indicate in which direction the department is located.
By using self-adhesive translucent colour screens a large diversity of colours can be realized. EL-foil is extremely noticeable due to the few ligth sources used in the basement.
Shapes of animals has been realized by a negative-positive covering, Multicontactfoil is sliceable, but to guarantee shapes like these the covering has to be cut out and the foil has to installed in the background.
